The Mycelium Incident is the story of a meek mycologist in an alternate history 1920s who is contracted to assist a mysterious Baron with his experiments. When he arrives at the estate, he discovers bizarre fungal growths that quickly prove to be deadly. Fearing that backing out of this contract will damage his career, Dr. Felix Whitby tries to make it through the summer.
